Adult Discussion is a small group that meets Sunday mornings to explore and discuss the Bible in greater depth and find within its pages strength and encouragement to meet the challenges of everyday life.
The group focuses on a particular topic or book of the Bible for several weeks, although each session is modular, so newcomers can join at any time. Learning is supported by study guides, video and books, and guest speakers are invited.
Past discussions have focused on Exodus, Ruth, Ephesians and other books of the Bible; on matters of faith and Christian life, such as Philip Yancey’s What’s So Amazing About Grace? and Timothy Keller’s The Prodigal God; and on issues of justice, including a series on Middle East peace based on the documentary film Budrus in which our guest speaker shared his personal experiences in the Holy Land.
We invite you to join us for conversation – along with coffee and muffins – from 9:30 am to 10:15 am in the Education Wing of the church. For more information about our current and future programs, please contact us.
